    As the suspension flows along the screen plate, thin layers of water are being sliced off by the screen bars and pass through the slots together with fine particles.

    A simple and effective machine capable of separating fiber as small as 100 microns in length from water suspension
    It is very compact and has no moving pars and requires a minimized maintenance.
    The unique screen plate is constructed of wedge bars forming a bowed surface with horizontal slots between the bars.
    The normal slot width being 150 microns and the front surface of the screen plate is polished.
    The flow to be screened is fed through a nozzle, which distributes the flow tangentially to the full screen width by means of an adjustable slice providing optimum feeding velocity.

    If under unusual conditions they were plugged to plug up, they can easily be cleaned with a water hose even during operation.

    The water consumption for screen cleaning is 120 L.P.M. (32 G.P.M.) per screen plate, the required water pressure being 7.0 bar(100 psi)

    The feed slice normally has an opening of 2-4m/m (0.08-0.16'')

    It is expected that screen is equipped with an automatic operating cleaning device with a pneumatic cylinder for quick opening and closing of the feed slice.
