O-frame detector
CAD methods-such as the finite element
method, temperature and vibration analyses-have been to design the
high-rigidity monocoque frame.

Sensor Lineup
In addition to the existing basis-weight,
moisture (infrared and microwave), and color/opacity sensors, the
ash and thickness sensors have been improved, and new gloss, smoothness
and calcium sensors developed.

Hardened
The O-frame Detector are now sealec modules, with
water cooling of sensor heads, to enhance reliability in high-temperature
high-humidty environments.

Sensor Expansion and Rearrangement
Compact modular sensors,
and multi-drop RS422 communications between sensors and frame CPU,
make for ease of expansion.

Reliability/Maintainability
Monocoque frame, beam cover,
upper and lower sensor head covers, and sensor test point on B stand,
enhance reliability and maintainability.
